Pilates is a method of conditioning the body, where exercises develop a series of skills that help the body get stronger, leaner, and move more efficiently. These skills are taught through a system of exercises performed on mats, and equipment designed by Joseph Pilates, to encourage better body mechanics. Every type of lesson uses one or more these types of equipment and each provide a complete workout consistent with Joseph Pilates’ original program with modern ideas about body mechanics.

Our classically trained teachers are seasoned professionals who understand the importance of modifying exercises to fit the individual clients’ needs. When modifying the exercises it’s easier to see how Pilates organizes movement skills to encourage higher function. When a body is functioning at its best, there is less pain, more consistent range of motion, better balance and appropriate power in all the right places at the right times.

  • Private Coaching - This is a one-on-one approach to learning Pilates and Body Mechanics.
  • Small Group Coaching - Divided by level, Semi Private Lessons offer more individualized attention and skill based learning but in a small group setting.
  • Group Coaching - Practice Pilates and enhance your fitness in a fun, fast-paced, group class.

Joseph Pilates earned a living as a professional boxer and self-defense trainer before developing what we now know to be the Pilates Method, making it perfect for men and women alike.
