Shannon Bell

Shannon developed her passion for movement growing up as a dancer in Massachusetts, studying dance between programs in the Boston area and New York City. Her interest in pursuing dance professionally led her to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned her B.F.A. After a series of injuries and time spent dealing with chronic pain in her back, Shannon found Pilates to be a catalyst for healing. It wasn’t until finding a consistent practice in Pilates that she felt able to push her boundaries as a dancer and exist comfortably in her body. With this new found freedom, she was inspired to help others find the sense of strength, ease and quietness in the body that occurs when having a consistent movement practice. 

Shannon has been teaching barre and dance technique throughout the Boston area for the past 2 years. Shannon is excited to start a new career as a Pilates Teacher through the Licensed Teacher Training program for The Pilates Center at Every Body Pilates.
