The Primary principle of Pilates is
There is an organic progression to mastery of these very skills built into every session with us, from your first Personalized Private session to your Self-Directed Workout supervised by one of our highly skilled teachers.
Every client and every condition is unique; this is why our protocols are designed to be tailored to the needs of the individual. Overall plans will include a combination of private lessons, directed workouts, semi-private lessons and at home practice geared towards developing a consistent practice.
“Practice your exercises diligently with the fixed and unalterable determination that you will permit nothing else to sway you from keeping faith with yourself.”

Our initial assessment is a one-on-one 55-minute appointment. You and your instructor will go over your physical history, answer any questions you may have, and learn about the foundation of our approach. Your instructor will then take you through the EBP Standard Movement Screen using the Fundamentals of the Pilates Method. During your session, your teacher will establish relevant homework to get you started right away. Depending on your personal goals you will work with your instructor to establish a plan of action.
Each client has individual needs, this is why our protocols are designed to be tailored to the individual. We find that when developing a Pilates practice to heal from a health condition, injury or surgery it is best
A daily exercise practice is essential on the road to recovery. Learning to do something takes time. The more time you put toward Pilates the sooner it can benefit you.
We introduce exercises that are simple and can be done while brushing your teeth, sitting in traffic or doing the dishes. Change happens because of relentlessness, not from force. We encourage clients to add sets, not reps. This allows for you to progress organically without catastrophic injuries or even really inconvenient ones.

I am continually impressed by the caliber of your staff. I have had one hell of a year with my shoulder injury in September (humeral fracture and rotator cuff injury) followed by a lingering case of benign positional vertigo. I am finally back to classes andprivate lessons and am appreciating the knowledge and attention to detail of your teachers!
I have been going to this studio for over 8 years. I was a complete novice (and pretty out of shape) when I started. I am now an evangelist for Pilates in general and for this studio in particular. I have had many teachers at EveryBody Pilates over the years and every single one of them has been an excellent teacher who gave me a different perspective on my body and how it works. They all have truly generous spirits that allow them to focus on the client and whatever body you happen to bring to the studio that day. You don’t have to worry about only working with this teacher or that teacher. They’re all wonderful. Make an appointment and get started.
I’ve been exercising at Every Body Pilates for five years because of the excellent teaching and the genuinely friendly and welcoming environment. The well-trained instructors provide challenging and varied techniques for moving my body during class and throughout life, making me strong, healthy and integrated while avoiding injury.
