Who is Every Body Pilates for?

Every Body Pilates is for anyone who wishes to learn better movement habits for better living. Our goal is for our clients to take the skills they learn in the studio into every part of their daily life.

We break movement down into its smallest fundamental skills requiring all students to start at the very beginning and add lever, load and complexity of choreography as students hone their skills to assure a more reliable outcome.

By honing and conditioning these foundational movement skills; we uniformly develop the body so that it may be as flexible as it is strong, as balanced as it is stable, as coordinated as it is integrated, as mentally facile as it sharp.

How do I get started?

We regularly have a waitlist, but our programming has ongoing enrollment, and the waitlist does move so being on it is important.

Be specific about what you are looking for and the days and times you can attend lessons regularly 1-3 times a week. If your interests or schedule changes, please let us know.

By completing our waitlist form you are automatically added to our list. We will reach out only once we have a spot for you. It’s impossible to tell how long it will take to get in. Your needs and availability are a significant factor in this timeline.

Complete Our Waitlist Form

Once you are off the waitlist, we reach out to set up your Intake Call. We go over your physical history and goals, how the program works, and you can ask any additional questions you may have. At the end of the call, we book your Introductory Session, and set up your schedule.

How often do you recommend doing Pilates?

The more often you do Pilates, the steeper the learning curve and the more immediate your results. How often depends entirely on your goals or physical condition. No one walks into a robust Pilates practice. It has to grow organically through consistent practice.

Our programming is designed so all new clients begin with privates and Directed Workout.

In addition to your private and Directed Workouts, your daily practice is supported through pre-recorded videos and live virtual sessions. Learn more about Daily Practice Here

As you grow through our programming, group classes may be added to your weekly practice.

I already have Physical Therapy exercises I am supposed to do, do I have to do yours too?

Our programming dovetails with the work you are doing with your existing PT. Our teachers work with you to relate your PT exercises to your developing Pilates practice and help you get the most out of all your exercises. Your PT exercises and your homework have the same goal in mind to help you move without pain. We often collaborate with PTs and make time to meet with them when needed.

I already have experience with the Pilates Method, can I skip ahead to group classes?

Our approach is unique and may be very different than your previous experience with the Pilates Method.

Group classes are a part of our overall programming and not a stand-a-lone service.

We begin with Private lessons, daily practice, and Directed Workouts before adding group classes to your schedule. This applies to everyone, no matter where you are starting from.

To build reliable skills you can use in any setting, at any age, we start with the basics and build from there.

I do not have time to practice at home. Do I have to do it?

Learning to do something new takes time, and practice makes progress. The more time you put towards Pilates the sooner it can benefit you.

Many exercises can be done while brushing your teeth, sitting in traffic or doing the dishes. As much as we all want to push the river and feel better, stronger and more flexible now, change that lasts happens because of continued practice. This approach means you can progress organically, without catastrophic injuries, or even really inconvenient ones.
